Swan Centre Car Park Kidderminster
Following a spate of serious injuries as a result of fall from the top floor of the car park, Hallmark has installed a lightweight chain link barrier system to the top two floors. The system was fitted to the existing concrete walls and stops access to the parapet.
Monarch Car Sales
The challenge at Monarch car sales was to provide a fence that looked stylish and fitted in with the sleek corporate image but prevented criminal stealing the catalytic convertors from cars on the forecourt. Hallmark supplied a 2.4m high bastion system, from Macarthur Group, ppc black. The fence stopped access to the cars at night but allows the public to still view the forecourt.
Reactive Works - Carillion Plc
Hallmark has provided reactive works services to Carillion Plc since 2006. This work entails both standard and emergency call outs (attending within 2 hours) to substations, both primary and secondary, to make the site safe. We are able to clean graffiti and remove fly tipping. Quotes are then submitted for any further work that may be required to bring the security up to a satisfactory level this will include fencing, doors, gates, windows and walls.
Bicker Fen - Enterprise
This is the largest compound that Hallmark has fenced within the Central Networks area. It included over 500m of high security palisade fencing and ground beam with three sets of gates around at substation adjacent to the National Grid site in Lincolnshire. This was part of the wind farm development in the Bicker area. The site was showcased for excellent health and safety standards. Hallmark worked closely with Enterprise on similar projects since including sealing ends pylons and extensions to primary substations.
Church Over - Alpha Contruction
Hallmark installed fencing around a substation on the edge of a gas compression station. Health and safety was a key issue on site due to the double hazard of electricity and gas. This site required double fencing of steel palisade and wooden post and rail.
Castle Mead - Enterprise
Following the floods of 2007 Castle Meads substation was flooded bringing whole of the south midlands networks to a halt. Hallmark was commissioned to manufacture and install the new flood defence system onsite.
This involved working closely with our structural engineers and designers
to provide a bespoke system to ensure the safety of the substation in future
years.
Earthing Services - Various Clients
Hallmark has installed earthing upgrades and extensions on sites across the Midlands
including Hillmorton for Carillion Plc and Rowton for IUS. Hallmark has
also remodelled the hottest site across the west area of the Central Networks
region.
