Security fencing suitable for schools are;
Steel palisade, mesh including chain link and expamet, railings and wooden fencing.
Steel palisade fencing offers the ultimate in security. This system is robust, long lasting and a formidable deterrent against crime and vandalism. All steel palisade products are galvanised to BS729 to give long term weather resistance, but can also in addition be plastic coated to match corporate schemes and improve the appearance.
Expamet fencing is designed for a range of applications from perimeter demarcation to the highest level of security fencing. Hot dip galvanised fencing with the option of polyester powder coating means the fencing can either blend into the background or be turned into an eye catching feature. The mesh (Expamet) fencing gives high visibility for everyone inside the fenced area and out, so you can always see any activity occurring. The Expamet fencing product range includes systems which have gained the police preferred 'Secured by Design' accreditation and Home Office Approval. 'Secured by Design' identifies technical standards and evaluations, which test the competence of security products and their resistance to criminal attack.
Railings can be provided in a variety of styles including Bow Top fencing. It has a traditional appearance and is often used for lower security risk areas.
Wooden Close Board Fencing is constructed with either concrete, metal or timber posts which can be concreted into the ground. Wooden fence posts can be supplied untreated or can be pressure treated. Metal posts are galvanised. Timber gravel boards are fitted as standard but can be optional. Rails are then fixed between the posts making a framework of the secure fence. Onto this frame the feather edge or close boards are fixed and these are capped as standard. Rustic Fencing is available in a various styles; pointed or unpointed and Full or Half round. We can offer a wide range of fence panel and trellis all suitable for secure school fencing.
